As spring approaches, designer Diane Von Furstenberg imagines a collection of printed espadrilles with shoe label Castañer. The presentation.
The countdown to sunny days can finally begin. Soon long coatsknits and comforting scarves will be put to the back of our dressing room, giving way to flowy dresses, crop tops, sunglasses and summer sandals. In this last category, Espadrilles Castañer have risen to the rank of almost indispensable. Very popular with the stars, including Kate Middleton AND Meghan Markle, these rope wedge shoes combine craftsmanship, tradition and style for a highly desirable Mediterranean look. A family business for a hundred years, the Spanish brand is not subject to trends, preferring to bet on the eternity of these pieces. That doesn’t stop him from revamping his cult designs through thoughtful collaborations. The latest big name in fashion to collaborate with the label? Diane Von Furstenberg.

On the program: a collection of 13 models designed in limited edition, where the Castañer aesthetic is reinterpreted through the stylistic codes of the designer. Each pair is presented in different versions: from the classic Chiara and Carina in eye-catching prints, to the versatile Paloma in a high-low version with imposing ankle laces, through the Blaudelle maxi-wedge, romantic and transgressive. Colorful, feminine and elegant, this new collaboration will undoubtedly accompany us all summer long.
