Hours later, outlet discovered 2022 Golden Globes it would be “too bare [and] will focus on announcing this year’s winners while also focusing on HFPAphilanthropic work of. There will be no audience, but only a select few HFPA philanthropy members and beneficiaries will be in the room. There will be no red carpet and no requests for media credentials will be accepted for this event.” On January 6, a HFPA rep added: “This year’s event will be a private event and will not be broadcast live. We will provide real-time updates on the winners on Golden Globes wwebsite and our social media.”
So will the Golden Globes be broadcast in 2023?
This is certainly what HFPA worked right. In October 2021, its membership was accepted 21 new voters, six of whom are black.
