Kate Middleton adopts the monochromatic look
Catherine Middleton was absolutely radiant this Monday night, along with prince william. If the latter chose a navy blue suit, a white shirt and a red tie, his wife stunned those present thanks to her all-red outfit. For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a double-breasted suit jacket and flared trousers. Instead of tempering the bright sheen of this outfit with neutral colored accessories, the Princess of Wales wanted to play the all-monochrome card and so opted for minaudière pumps and pointed toe in carmine red. To brighten her face, she still fell for dangling gold earrings. A solid red outfit totally successful!

The trend of monochromatic looks
If they could be considered “too” before, the same color looks have been popular for a few months in the fashion world and they definitely elevate the look. Bold in total look, bolder colors like fuchsia, red, pine green or shades of blue ensure a sharp outfit provided you choose elegant pieces, perfectly cut and premium fabrics. If bright colors are not for us, we can also play the monochrome look card with softer and more neutral colors, such as beige or gray. But here again, good quality items should be preferred as much as possible to create a real “wow” effect!
